Larger Family Sessions

Including extended family in your photo session is such a special thing to do. These photographs will become your most treasured items and keepsakes.

There’s a different dynamic involved with family photo sessions where extended family members are included. I usually begin with family portraits, so all the different combinations of family members you would like, plus some full group shots. Then we move on to the more candid moments especially if there are children involved. Think cuddles with Grandparents, games with Aunties, Uncles and cousins and of course moments with your smaller family units.

Extended family sessions are held at golden hour just like my standard family photography sessions. This means everyone needs to be available the hour or so before sunset - or the hour after sunrise if that suits your family better.
