Being pregnant is a beautiful, scary, fulfilling, exciting and love-filled time of your life. Whether you’re glowing and feeling the best you’ve ever felt, or you’re dealing with crazy hormones, swollen ankles or stretch marks, each pregnancy is beautiful in its own way and well worth documenting.
Soon, the tiny human inside you is going to grow into a walking, talking, little person with their own thoughts, feelings and unique personality. In time, your child is going to love sitting with you and looking through photos from when they were still in your belly.
When the day arrives that you get to meet your little miracle, you’ll quickly forget what it felt like to be pregnant and the incredible feat that your body conquered. A maternity photoshoot will remind you how powerful your body is for years to come.
Sessions are best held outdoors, at a stunning location on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, usually at sunrise or sunset to make use of the picturesque golden hour light. I’m also happy to travel to a different location if you have somewhere special in mind.
Bring your partner and other children so they can join in some of the photos too.
Wondering when to do your maternity photoshoot? The best time for maternity and pregnancy photos is the start of the third trimester (28-36 weeks), however earlier or later is absolutely fine as well if you would prefer.
